IDF throttle bodies are compact 2BBL units equally at home on a V8 and a VW or Porsche air cooled 4 cylinder. They are available in 40, 45 and 50mm bore sizes, with bosses for four injector mount positions. All four of the injector pockets are machined and plugs can be supplied to close off the unused ports. Each barrel has a bypass screw for idle speed and air flow adjustment. Units designated as “left hand” (LH) have provision to mount a TPS. Several different shaft linkage levers are available. O-rings are supplied to provide a reliable throttle to manifold seal. Borla produces compatible parts to complete an IDF installation such as fuel rails, fuel injectors, air horns, throttle position sensors and fuel pressure regulators.
